Apps

The catalogue of what runs on your clusters — the platform bundle and the apps you deploy on top.

The platform bundle

The first card is your organization's platform: the shared pieces every cluster leans on — sign-in, secrets, metrics and logs, the Hetzner console. It runs on the platform cluster and its version is your organization's release. Install it once; new clusters join it.

Apps

Below it, the apps your organization may run. Each card says what it is, what it needs, and where it already runs. From here you can:

  • Deploy an app to clusters by label or by list — see Deploy an app.
  • Open a deployment to see each cluster's state: up to date, behind, failed (with why), down for the night, or blocked waiting for something.
  • Upgrade when a newer release is out. Never automatic.

Doors

Apps with a web interface — Argo CD, Grafana, Headlamp, Vault and friends — appear on the cluster's page as doors: a link and how to sign in the first time. Same sign-in as the cabinet, so no new passwords to lose.
